This policy explains what personal information Axiom Research Lab collects when you use this website or place an order, and what we do with it.
Information we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email address and shipping address, together with the contents and value of your order. If you begin a checkout and do not complete it, the email address and order details you entered may be retained so that we can follow up with you.
If you contact us directly, we hold whatever information you choose to include in that message.
Payment information
Card payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. Full card details are entered directly with that processor and are not received or stored by this website. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded or failed, along with limited reference information needed to identify the transaction and issue refunds.
How we use your information
- To process, fulfil and ship your order
- To send order confirmations and shipping notifications
- To respond to enquiries and handle claims or refunds
- To follow up on a checkout that was started but not completed
- To keep records of transactions
Who we share it with
We share personal information only where it is necessary to run the store:
- Our ecommerce platform, which stores order, customer and checkout records on our behalf
- Our payment processor, which handles card payments and refunds
- Our fulfilment partner and carrier, which receive the shipping address needed to deliver your order
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
This site uses cookies necessary for it to function, including to keep your cart and checkout session. If you arrive through an affiliate referral link, a cookie records that referral for up to 60 days so that the referral can be credited. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, though parts of the store may not work correctly if you do.
Customer accounts
A customer dashboard is available where you can view your orders, invoices and billing details. Access is tied to the email address used to place the order.
Retention
We keep order and transaction records for as long as we need them to run the business and to meet our record-keeping obligations. Incomplete checkout records are kept for a shorter period.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Contact us and we will respond. Note that we cannot delete records we are obliged to retain for transaction and accounting purposes.
